All the MPs are returning to the Parliament after the Easter break. There are no changes seen in the opinion polls since they have been away. Labor is maintaining a commanding lead and they are 20 points ahead of the Conservatives. Many members of the Labor Party have their influence over the results. They have people at their back who are supporting them due to bribery and other good offers.

Some people even vote multiple times to keep their upper hand intact. Reform UK is turning out to be the least powerful and is in the third place. However, they are ahead of the Lib Dems. Their average level of support is 12% which was around 13% last week. The poll tracker is based on the polls that cover Great Britain. It doesn’t cover Northern Island as very few polls are covered from this area.

Why Do Polling Companies Have Different Results?

Most of the polls conducted for the general elections are based on the samples collected from the interviews of people. However, there can be a margin for error. The percentage can be higher or lower depending on various factors. Most of the polls that are conducted include the areas of Great Britain. Some other polls are based on the whole of the UK. People who are surveyed will get an option to choose their preferred party. Some prominent polling companies also handle these polls. However, whether the results are genuine or not is not clear.

Usually, the labor party gets its way as it convinces people to vote in its favor. It is one of the reasons why we see only certain MPs leading the polls and the election results too. Many people observe that all the polling companies give different results. The reason is obvious as different companies deal with different people. Some individuals don’t know how to vote, while others may not show their interest. In some cases, the male voters are more than female voters.

Labour Leading as Election Looms

As the intention of the polling companies is to ask about people’s opinions during elections, they conduct various polls. They typically ask the interviewees who they will vote for. Each person has their preference when it comes to voting for a party in the election. However, there is an exception. The public is given options and they have to choose a party from within. It may happen that some of the party members are missing and they are left with no choice.

Many people are curious to know who is leading the polls or what the chances are for a certain party to win. During the latest general election labor is seen to be a clear win. The stories of their corruption scandals and bribery are not hidden from the public anymore. However, the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak has all the power to call for the general election at any point he wants. It seems he is going to keep delaying it until 2025, to stay in power for a longer time.

In 2019, women were mostly voting for Labor, while the men were doing it for the Conservatives. However, the results can be changed anytime as the Labor Party has its influence over voting. In the recent poll conducted for the elections, both men and women are likely to vote for Labor.

Will Labour Secure a Clean Sweep

Looking at the corruption scandals and influence over the public, labor is likely to get a lead in this election. They have a strong position at the polls and the results will be depicted when the election is held. It talks about Andy Burnham in Greater Manchester, Steve Rotheram in Liverpool City Region, Tracy Brabin in West Yorkshire, Oliver Coppard in South Yorkshire, and Sadiq Khan in Greater London.

They all have comfortably won their previous elections. Moreover, are among the favorites for this year’s elections in the UK. There will be a clean sweep for the Labor MPs. Keir Starmer will be celebrating the result of the general elections on 2nd May. The two conservative mayors have already tried to distance themselves from their National party and Westminster politics in general.
